BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
 
The main objectives of the TA are to prepare (i) a national urban sector review; (ii) a medium-term urban sector investment program; and (iii) a program for capacity building for improved urban management and the provision of municipal services, to include a suitable project for upgrading and expanding the coverage of priority municipal services in selected urban centers.

IKS Consultting staff was responsible for preparation the national urban social infrastructure sector profile, development of medium-term urban social infrastructure investment program, identification and preparation the Project for upgrading and expanding the coverage of water supply services in Karshi, Djizzak and Gulistan. They also carried out an institutional review at national and City level and made recommendations for Capacity Building and prepared all financial and economic analyses. IKS Consulting team provided after Project completion consultations to Government of Uzbekistan and worked together with Ministry of Finance on development of the Loan agreement and Government Resolution on implementation of the ADB Loan Project.
