Contract description

The overall objective of the project is to support the economic development of Uzbekistan by upgrading its standardization to international practice, thus reducing trade barriers.
The project supports the implementation of the PCA / WTO accession obligations in accordance with section 6.2 of the 2002-2004 Indicative Programme for Central Asia.
The aim is also to promote the use of EU technical regulations and standards as well as to promote ISO and certification.
